Design Engineer

Employment Details

  1. Full time
  2. Location(s): Bangalore
  3. Qualification: B Tech/ M Tech Electrical.
  4. Experience: 2-5 Years proven experience in industry.
  5. Experience in Design and validation of Earthing &Grounding systems, Lightning Protection systems, Electromagnetics, AC interference study, Power system study, Cathodic protection system,etc.
  6. Experience in utility audits, instrumentation audits, substation equipment testing, power quality, thermography, earthing and lightning protection measurements as per standard code of practice will be an added advantage.
  7. Onboarding: Immediate joining

Job Description:

  1. Project planning and management
  2. Determine the project deliverables as per SOW.
  3. Visit project sites for study and analysis.
  4. Should lead, train & guide various team members with technical aspects on project basis.
  5. Experience in validating power system study results and simulation.
  6. Develop SLD, Schematic Diagram and Build up Bill of Material based on customer drawings or specifications.
  7. Publish technical reports.
  8. Provide customer support to their technical queries during project cycle.
  9. Experience in performing Root Cause Analysis.
  10. Provide technical support for developing customer proposals.

Skill Requirements:

  1. Travel involved.
  2. Excellent technical abilities and skills for performing power system analysis.
  3. Strong analytical skills are essential for assessing customer issues and creating solutions.
  4. Good comprehension and analytical skills on customer technical requirements and publishing reports.
  5. Fluency in English Language, both spoken and written.
  6. Project specific commercial acumen.
  7. Meet the project deadlines, cost and performance as scheduled.
  8. Self-starter and willing to learn new concepts and technologies.

Software proficiency:

  1. CDEGS/CYMGRID/XGSLAB
  2. ETAP
  3. Knowledge in AutoCAD is an added advantage.

Sr. Design Engineer– Power Systems
